Motherwell kickboxer Gary McLeary is out to win a second world title on Saturday.

Already the Golden Belt super-heavyweight champion he takes on Italian Alex Rossi at Hamilton Town House with the IKSA belt on the line.

Gary says he is ready for the fight after having a good training camp with Stevie Mair at Glah Hahn in Craigneuk, but knows it will be tough.

He said: “Rossi is a durable fighter with heavy leg kicks and a is southpaw to boot.

“However, I have changed my training to accommodate this and am utterly determined to win another world title.”

Gary has opened his own ‘Infernal’ gym in Merry Street, and two of his protégés Darren Smith and Alan Drain will make their debuts on Saturday.

He would like to thank his sponsors Timeprint, Commercial Hotel, Waverley Bar and Clara’s Events and party Decorations as well as all involved with his training camp.

Doors open at 6pm, call Gary on 07950304267 to check ticket availability.
