Motherwell have been handed a ties against either Welsh or Icelandic opposition in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

Monday’s draw in Nyon pitted ’Well against the winners of Bangor City vs Stjarnan on July 17 and 24.

Stuart McCall’s side return for pre-season training today (Wednesday) as they look to progress past the play-off round of the competition for the first time.

The fixtures for next season’s Scottish Premiership have also been announced and ’Well have been handed an opening day visit from St Mirren on Saturday, August 9.

This will be followed by a trip to Dundee United on August 13, before they welcome Inverness to Fir Park on August 16.

The rest of the month will be rounded off away to Kilmarnock on August 23 and then at home to St Johnstone on August 30.
