On-loan Rotherham winger Lionel Ainsworth made his debut against Kilmarnock on Saturday as he became Motherwell’s final signing of the summer.
The 25-year-old will be at Fir Park until January and this is the second time he has replaced Chris Humphrey at a club having joined Shrewsbury when Humprhrey himself signed up at ’Well.
Ainsworth said: “I want to repay the faith the manager has in me, I’ve heard nothing but good things.”
Meanwhile young striker Lee Erwin has gone on loan to Arbroath for a month and scored twice on his debut in a 2-1 win over Brechin.
