Junior sides Thorniewood United and Bellshill Athletic this week continue their push for points to secure their places in next season’s Super League First Division.
Thorniewood, battling to avoid relegation from the division, travel to face Kilsyth Rangers who are one of the sides below them in the table.
Meanwhile Bellshill, chasing promotion from the Central League First Division, are at home to mid-table Dunipace.
Thorniewood, who had no game last week, are currently eighth in the table but are just two points clear of the relegation zone and have lost their last three league games.
Kilsyth are 11th in the 14-team table, two points behind Thorniewood and with four teams going down the outcome of Saturday’s game could have a crucial bearing on the sides’ ultimate fate.
Meanwhile Bellshill remain top of table a point clear of the pack following Saturday’s draw with Shettleston as they chase one of the two promotion spots available.
Athletic have lost just once in their last 14 league games, a run which started with a 3-2 win at Dunipace in August.
Both Saturday’s games kick-off at 2pm.
