IT’S back to league business for Bellshill following the end of their Emirates Scottish Junior Cup run at the hands of Bo’ness last week.
Gerry Creaney’s men want to pick themselves up from their setback - Athletic’s first defeat since Creaney took over as manager - when they travel to face Girvan in a Super League First Division encounter.
Bellshill are in eighth place in the table as they seek to continue their climb away from the relegation zone, but could face a tough task against a Girvan side who sit third, have lost just once this season and have several games in hand over the sides above them.
Meanwhile Thorniewood endured yet another frustrating Saturday on the sidelines when their Central League First Division match with Dunipace at Robertson Park was called off.
The game has been rescheduled for this Saturday, but the latest postponement means the Viewpark side have now gone over two months without playing.
Their last game was a 3-0 defeat at Cambuslang on November 20.
Both Saturday’s games will kick-off at 1.45pm - weather permitting.
