Dalziel Rugby Club will be out to do the double over Dunfermline when they travel through to face the Fifers in a BT National League Division 3 fixture on Saturday.

Dalziel ended an 18-month wait for a league win when they defeated Dunfermline 27-10 at Dalziel Park in October.

Since breaking their duck Dalziel have added two more victories but still remain second bottom of the table.

However Dunfermline are only one place and two points above them so another victory on Saturday would not only give Dalziel a Dunfermline double but would enable them to leapfrog their opponents and move back out of the bottom two.

Dunfermline themselves over took Dalziel last week when they won 24-8 at RHC while Dalziel’s home match with Irvine was called off due to the weather.

This match has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 28.

Meanwhile Uddingston face a derby against Lanarkshire rivals Waysiders Drumpellier at Bothwell Castle Policies as they continue their search for their first West Division 2 win of the season after nine successive defeats.
