A NORTH Lanarkshire Council service which tackles issues such as antisocial behaviour and homelessness has been recognised nationally for the work it does.
The local authority’s mediation service is now nationally accredited by the Scottish Community Mediation Service for delivering a high level of service.
This national accreditation award, which remains in place for two years, reaffirms the high quality of service provided in this area.
The service works closely with the police, housing staff and other agencies, who all act in a pro-active and cost effective way to reduce conflict with housing issues.
