Outpatients, visitors and staff will be offered the chance to get a flavour of the patient meal service at Wishaw General Hospital next week.

A patient menu tasting session has been arranged to take place from 2-3.30pm at the main entrance on Monday.

Eileen Clarke, senior nurse and nutrition lead for Wishaw General Hospital, explained: “We are extremely proud of the food we provide for our patients and continually work with our service providers, dietitians and patient representatives to monitor nutritional standards, quality and patient satisfaction.

“We want to give patients, visitors and relatives a chance to sample the food that is being served in the wards on the same day and to give us their views on the improvements we have made.”
