THREE workers from an Uddingston engineer supply firm have completed a marathon charity cycle challenge, covering 600 miles and taking in some of the finest sights in Scotland.

They hope to raise around £5,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation, which makes dreams come true for young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

Kenney Harris, from Bellshill, Ricky Johnston, from Annan, and Davie Sneddon, from Busby, took part in the charity challenge for Brammer of Uddingston whose nominated charity is the Make A Wish Foundation.

Boss Ricky came up with the idea last year - having had previous experience of a charity cycle.

Once Kenney and Davie were on board, the team decided that they would set off from Fort William and visit every branch of the company in Scotland, adding a quick trip to a Belfast branch before finishing in Carlisle.
