Bus passengers required hospital treatment following an incident at the stance outside Motherwell Station this afternoon.
There ambulance crews rushed to Muir Street after one First Bus crashed into the back of another.
The Scottish Ambulance Service would only definitely confirm one passenger had been taken to hospital, but the Times & Speaker saw several more being helped into the ambulances.
Muir Street was completely blocked while ambulance crews worked, leading to long tailbacks to Motherwell cross and beyond.
The road is now clear.
A First Glasgow spokesperson; “We are aware of an incident involving two First vehicles at Motherwell Train Station.
“Emergency services attended to support our passengers and we are currently investigating what happened.”
