A CHARITY fun day in association with the police’s Nae Danger campaign was held at the Bellshill Tesco store.
The event raised a massive £1,566 for Macmillan Cancer Support, and encouraged those attending to let their hair down and have some fun.
Anyone shopping in the supermarket on the day were treated to performances by musical acts, fun and games - and shoppers even had people packing their bags.
The event is one of many organised for the charity as Bellshill community police officer Alan Mulholland also plans to complete a motorcycle run, The Breast Way Around, along with 100 female bikers to raise even more funds.
He is being sponsored by the Nae Danger campaign and Route 66 motor cycle training for the run which takes place over three days from May 27 to 30.
