A VERY successful careers event organised on a speed networking basis took place in the school recently.

This fundraiser followed a visit from Marion Barr, community fundraiser for the charity, who spoke to young people about the work of LEPRA in the developing world.

Marion explained to the students that it costs approximately £21 to cure one person suffering from the disease Leprosy and that the sum of £600 raised by the pupils of Taylor High will go on to support 29 patients.
