Manny Hussain from the Nisa store in Carfin Road, Newarthill, presented a cheque for £100 to (l-r) secretary Liz McLachlan, Audrey Hulme and chairwoman Gayle Dunlop of Keir Hardie Primary’s parent council at the recent spring fayre after nominating them through his firm’s Making a Difference Locally charity.

In total the fayre raised £2,130 which will go towards buying computer and playground equipment for the school, and the parent council would like to thank everyone who contributed to a successful event.
