You’re never too young to raise money for a good cause as big-hearted Motherwell sisters Lilly Anne and Grace Moore proved.

The girls, aged seven and five respectively, handed Macmillan Cancer Support a magnificent £788 after organising a coffee morning in the garden of their home in Liath Avenue.

They told family and friends, and drummed up more support by posting flyers in their neighbours’ letterboxes.

The enterprising duo brightened up the venue with decorations and even used their own pocket money to buy small gifts for the children who came along.

The Cathedral Primary School pupils made their family very proud with their fundraising and gran Anne Burgess said: “It’s an amazing achievement.”
