A MENTAL health information service was relaunched on Friday to help locals in Lanarkshire stay mentally healthy.

The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) and North Lanarkshire Council teamed up to launch Well-informed at Bellshill Cultural Centre.

The service has been remodelled with a new image and name, and during the launch event, speakers from SAMH and NLC gave talks.

The council-funded service will provide information on local and national organisations and services that are relevant to people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Well-informed will give people the information they need to make informed choices about their support, and to look after their own mental health.

Thanks to the volunteers who have been recruited to Well-informed, the service can help people in more ways than ever.
