UDDINGSTON primary schools Muiredge and St John the Baptist teamed up for their annual summer fete organised to raise funds for both schools.

The event, organised by parents from both schools, took place at Muiredge and featured a wide variety of activties aimed at providing a fun-filled day for all the family.

These included performances from the schools’ joint choir and other musical groups from the schools, stalls and a burger bar and Fairtrade cafe.

The weather forced the event to be held indoors, but the rain failed the dampen the spirit and it still proved a great success, raising £2,100 for each school.
