SUMMER sunshine helped make the Ladywell Primary School PTA annual fayre a big success on Saturday.

There were plenty of attractions to keep the children amused with a range of stalls selling books, toys, DVDs and more to boost the school’s funds.

Cheerleaders from Motherwell Football Club Dance Team entertained the crowds, while the home baking went down well and cool drinks were the order of the day as the temperature soared.

At the end of the day around £1,300 was raised and thanks goes to all who contributed.
