Rocky is a lover not a fighter

CLEVER BOY . . . Rocky.
CLEVER BOY . . . Rocky.

EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.

And this week is the turn of Rocky who is currently staying at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.

The centre’s Gillian Boyle said: “Rocky is a handsome and placid boy, aged around six, who loves his cuddles and kisses. He walks well on his lead by your side, but when he’s had enough of walking he will just have a lie down - no matter where he is!

“Rocky is extremely clean in his kennel which would suggest he has had some house training and he knows lots of commands. He’s a wee smartie pants! He is an absolute sweetheart and a firm favourite with our staff here. Rocky would be suited to a home with no toddlers.”

If you can give Rocky a loving home, please call the SSPCA Animal Helpline 03000 999 999, quoting ref Motherwell Times. The Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, on Bothwell Road, is open Monday to Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
