SCHOOLS in Motherwell and Bellshill are being urged to sign up for a non-uniform day to help Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity is holding a Dress Up and Dance challenge on June 21, during which youngsters will be asked to bring in a £2 donation and take part in a suggested dance routine.
Macmillan fundraising manager for Lanarkshire, Angela McCormack, said: “Dress up and Dance is all about kids having some fun, trying something new and at the same time raising a bit of money for charity.
“I think this is something local schools would really enjoy so I hope some of them will sign up to take part.
“It will be a fun day and all the money raised will help Macmillan be there for people with cancer and their families.”
