Motherwell takeaway owner Fausto Rea is giving customers the chance to help victims of the Italian earthquake which killed nearly 300 people and left thousands homeless.

The Brandon Street shop is donating proceeds from the sale of £1.99 pizzas to a special fund.

The fundraiser is on Monday, September 12, from noon to 7pm.

Fausto, who has family and friends in the Umbria region hit by the earthquake, plans to take the money raised to the area later this year.
