EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.

And this week is the turn of mother and daughter Lucy and Blue, who are currently staying at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.

The centre’s Gillian Boyle said: “Lucy and Blue are two gorgeous female cats. Lucy is mum, aged three, and Blue is her daughter, aged two.

“They came here after their owner could no longer care for them.

“Lucy and Blue are quite outgoing, especially Blue, who can be nosey at times and likes to know what is going on around her!

“They are looking for a home with no young children.”

If you can give Lucy and Blue a loving home, please call the SSPCA Animal Helpline 03000 999 999, quoting ref Motherwell Times.

The Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, on Bothwell Road, is open Tuesday to Sunday and bank holiday Mondays from 10am until 4pm.
