Making music at Taylor High

Following a successful seminar delivered by Taylor music teacher John McLaughlin at the Scottish Learning Festival, the use of iPads is really coming to the forefront of the music classroom at the school.

Highlighted by Glow Scotland as having huge potential, the iPads are really encouraging pupils’ creativity and making music more accessible to all.

Pupils in first and second year have enjoyed the opportunity to use the iPads to create their own personal ringtones and will now go on to participate in inter-disciplinary learning by selling their ringtones in an enterprise activity.
