Witnesses are being sought after a 21-year-old man was assaulted on Brandon Street, Motherwell, around 11.50pm on Sunday.
The suspect is described as being male, white, 6’1” / 6’2”, of heavy build and was wearing a blue hooded jacket.

An investigation has been launched after a security guard at Bellshill’s Tesco store was assaulted.
The incident unfolded when a group of youths refused to leave the entrance of the supermarket around 6.40pm on Thursday (April 3).
The male responsible is described as being 15-years-old, 5’7”, slim with dark hair and was wearing a black skip hat, black bubble-style jacket and grey jogging bottoms.


Witnesses to either incident are urged to call Police Scotland on 101.
