Police calls preview

A FOUR-figure sum of money was stolen from the Greggs shop on Old Edinburgh Road, Tannochside, during a break-in between last Monday and Tuesday.

As previously reported, the shop was also targeted in recent weeks, along with the branch on Hamilton Road, Bellshill.

SEVERAL windows were smashed on Chester Crescent, Motherwell, on Sunday evening.

There were similar incidents in Vickers Street, Horatius Street, Cornelia Street and Scotia Street.

Police are hoping local residents might have seen the youths thought to be responsible.
