The Race is on to support good causes

The Redhurst Hotel’s latest efforts have raised almost £1000 for the charity.

This time the hotel ran a race night which proved to be extremely popular and was attended by many regulars, visitors and staff.

Lesley Smith, manageress at the Redhurst, said “We are delighted to have formed this working relationship with ERGC, as it allows us, as a local hub of our community, to raise funds and promote the great work of this charity.

“We chose ERGC as it gets to individuals who are often hidden from the public gaze, who are in need of a wide variety of different things, and we wish to support this grassroots work to show we are a true, caring community”

Russell Macmillan, founder of ERGC, said the charity was extremely grateful to the Redhurst Hotel, its staff and customers.

“They continue to work with us to show our neighbours that we care about everyone within the area,” said Russell.

“It is often small acts of kindness through East Renfrewshire Good Causes that make people feel cared for, especially if they are suffering illness, disability or for other reasons.

“I would appeal for other businesses to follow the great example set by the Redhurst Hotel and join us in our quest to love our neighbours in East Renfrewshire.
