Peter Vardy drive to help abused kids
A MOTHERWELL car dealership has set itself the ambitious target of raising £40,000 for children who have been rescued from abusive people traffickers.
Airbles Road based Peter Vardy is notching up money for Hagar International which urgently needs funds for its Community Learning Centre in Cambodia.
The dealership have organised a number of events including a sponsored Kayak around Arran and a charity car wash on Saturday, July 25 which will see the Motherwell FC team bring their cars along for a clean.
The grand finale of the fundraising events will be an X Factor night at the Motherwell Miners Welfare Club on Saturday, September 5. Tickets to the event cost 10.
