A COUPLE are on their marks to raise funds for their young son who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Mason Butcher’s condition means he can’t walk or even sit up by himself.

Now parents Brian Butcher and Laura Baylan, of Gorley Place, Motherwell, are aiming to raise £6,000 so they can provide therapy for the 21-month-old.

They have organised bag packing at B&M Bargains, Birkenshaw Trading Estate, Uddingston, on Saturday and Sunday, January 26 and 27.

This will be followed by a fun run at Strathclyde Park on Saturday, February 16.

The couple have set up an online page and anyone wishing to help should search for Mason’s Mission on Facebook.
