That’ll be the day for another nostalgia trip

Buddy Holly is back in town for one night only.

Ok, so it’s not the man himself but A Legend Reborn — the show pairing the late rock and roll sensation with contemporaries Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochran.

Stars In Their Eyes winner Marc Robinson is back in Holly’s shoes alongside Steve Halliday and Gavin Stanley, each promising a night of bopping to classics like Peggy Sue, That’ll Be The Day, Blue Suede Shoes and Three Steps to Heaven.

The trio are backed by a Crickets-style band offering an added touch of 50s nostalgia, and producer Michael Taylor promises “a good-time show that ensures Buddy’s incredible legacy of hit songs lives on”.

Buddy Holly - a Legend Reborn is on at the Royal Concert Hall tomorrow (Friday), 8pm. Tickets from 353 8000.
