TWO local girls will soon be packing their suitcases and heading off on a summer adventure with a difference.

Rachel McAllister and Nicole Swinfen, both 21, have volunteered to spend five weeks teaching in Ghana.

The pair will head out for the trip of a lifetime on July 4.

They signed up with Original Volunteers, an organisation that arranges volunteer trips abroad, after finding details online.
