An 11-year-old Motherwell girl is heartbroken after a pup she bought with birthday money went missing.
Six-month-old Alfie hasn’t been seen since Saturday. The Yorkshire terrier-type is thought to have squeezed through a hole in the fence at owner Caris Hunter’s home in Wood Crescent.
Her aunt Laura said: “Caris is heartbroken. She has been looking everywhere and half the scheme’s been out too, but Alfie hasn’t been seen.”
Now a £100 reward is being offered for the dog’s safe return. Alfie, who wears an electronic chip, is mainly black in colour with some brown and has a blue collar.
Call Caris’s mum, Catherine, on 01698 643861.
