Library users in Motherwell are sitting pretty after a furniture makeover by staff at supported employment business NL Industries.

The attractive seating has given the library a bright and fresh look for people to enjoy as they choose a book.

Donella Duff, Project Manager at NL Industries, said: “We are delighted that so many people will get the benefit of the quality, durable furniture we have supplied.

“We have been working on a number of contracts for libraries and nurseries, and it is always nice to see people getting good use out of them.”

Netherton based NL Industries, which supports disabled employees, provide a range of products and services including soft furnishings, re- upholstery, sofa production, removal and storage and maintenance of portable fire fighting equipment.
