CHILDREN from all over Scotland arrived in Motherwell at the weekend for what was undoubtedly a highlight on their festive calendars.
For the annual Christmas party organised by renowned Wishaw volunteer Les Hoey took place at the Centenary Suite at Fir Park on Sunday.
The event, for children with life-limiting conditions, offers the youngsters something to look forward to all year.
It was attended by a number of celebrities including singer Darius and Miss Scotland Nicola Mimnagh as well as footballers and Scottish TV stars.
As well as enjoying a range of party games and treats, each of the children was given a special present, with gifts including Xboxes and PlayStation 3s, TVs, iPods, BlackBerry mobile phones and concert tickets for acts such as Westlife and the X Factor tour.
