EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.

And this week is the turn of Jinty the cat, currently being looked after at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.

The centre’s Gillian Boyle said: “Jinty is a beautiful cat aged between five and eight who arrived here as a stray. She is an adorable girl who loves giving cuddles as much as receiving them!

“Jinty is super affectionate and would suit a family home where she can be the centre of attention.”

If you can give Jinty a loving home, please call the SSPCA Animal Helpline 03000 999 999, quoting ref Motherwell Times.

The Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, on Bothwell Road, is open Monday to Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
