Police are investigating after 10 windows were smashed at Cardinal Newman High School over the recent bank holiday weekend.
The incident occurred at some point between 3pm on Friday, May 1 and 3.20pm on Monday, May 4.
Head teacher Kenny Ross, said:“We are determined to continue to improve the facilities for pupils and staff at Cardinal Newman as well as the wider community.
“Our school is highly valued by our young people and their parents and is seen to be at the heart of our community.
“We know that the vast majority of the community share our goal to provide the best possible opportunities for young people to learn.
“We will not be deterred by this mindless act of vandalism, however frustrating and upsetting it is for everyone at the school.
“I hope those responsible are made to realise the impact their actions have had on the area they live.
“I’d encourage anyone with information to contact the police on 101.”
