Holytown man raises money for cancer trust

A HOLYTOWN cancer sufferer recently paid tribute to a service which helped him through his treatments - by organising a charity night.

Michael McGrory, who suffered from throat cancer but is now in remission, held a charity night in the General Motors Club in Holytown to raise vital funds for the Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust.
