EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.
And this week is the turn of Henry who is currently staying at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.
The centre’s Gillian Boyle said: “Poor Henry, a six-year-old Staffy cross, has been waiting for a home since January and staff at the centre are now desperate to find this cuddly boy the love he needs.
“He was very nervous when he first came into our care, but he has since grown in confidence and he’s now an outgoing fella with bags of personality. “Henry is a real softy who just loves attention and he’d happily be petted and played with from dawn till dusk.
“He can be quite strong on the lead so he’d benefit from further training so that his walks are steady paced rather than a flat dash!”
Staff at the centre think Henry would enjoy an active family home with older children.
If you can give Henry a loving home, please call the SSPCA Animal Helpline 03000 999 999, quoting ref Motherwell Times.
The Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, on Bothwell Road, is open Monday to Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
