A SECURITY guard was robbed at gunpoint outside a Bothwell bank on Tuesday morning.
Around 11am the security guard left the Clydesdale Bank on Main Street, when a grey Volkswagen Golf car drove up beside him.
The passenger, who had his face covered, got out of the car and threatened the man, with what appeared to be a firearm, and demanded he hand over the box he was carrying.
The thief then got back into the car and it sped off in the direction of Uddingston.
The victim was uninjured, but has been left badly shaken.
