Games for a laugh at church holiday club

There might not have been a beach, but there was plenty of summer fun for children who went along to Viewpark Church of the Nazarene.

Viewpark Church of the Nazarene celebrated the imminent Commonwealth Games when it revived its summer holiday club last week.

Children from primary school up to teenagers went along every night during the week to enjoy a host of games, songs, videos and quizzes. It was the first holiday club at the church for a few years and it went well.

The club was named ‘Fit for a King’ and aside from the Christian message there was a Commonweath Games theme to many of the activities.

Thanks to all helpers and parents who sent their children along. The church has a Monday night youth club and a Tuesday kids’ club which both resume next month.
