A GROUP of friends and family are set to take on the challenge of covering 300 miles on bikes from Blackpool to Glasgow to raise money for CHAS in memory of a Holytown toddler.

New Stevenston man Craig Dymock will join Ross Dymock, David Dymock, Ray Hicks and Andy Dobinson for the charity challenge - and the group, who are from all over Lanarkshire, will be supported by drivers John Brown and Jim Johnstone when they take part in the challenge on Friday to Sunday, October 21 to 23.

They hope to raise money for CHAS - a charity which supported Rebecca Graham before she passed away at just three years old.

This year’s event is their fourth charity challenge cycle as the fundraisers have previously tackled John O’Groats to Stranraer, Inverness to Glasgow and Aberdeen to Glasgow.
