FAMILIES in Motherwell have been getting sporty over the summer thanks to North Lanarkshire Council’s Community Learning and Development.
A programme of different activities was on offer including zumba and tae kwon-do while football coaching was delivered by the SFA.
Other activities included storytelling at the library; trying on armour at Bothwell Castle and getting a closer look at old artefacts in Motherwell Heritage Centre.
Under five’s took part in mini gymnastics, baby massage, games and making playdough.
The events took place at various locations in the Motherwell area including Dalziel High, Brannock High, Braidhurst High and the Jim Foley Community Centre in Craigneuk.
