BRAIDHURST High School was the venue for a special gathering of youngsters and adults who had attended a variety of family learning courses.

North Lanarkshire Council’s community learning and development department held various courses which were linked to family learning including homework clubs, paired reading and nature clubs.

Families gathered at Braidhurst High to collect certificates to mark the completion of the courses.

Councillor Paul Kelly is pictured handing out the award to some of the Motherwell families who attended the awards day along with Stewart Wright (back row), locality manager for community learning and development.
