Holytown youngster Faith Neely will embark on a 5k bike ride at Strathclyde Park this weekend in aid of the John O’Byrne Foundation.
The seven-year-old Holytown Primary pupil has been successful in reaching the final of the Little Miss category in Glasgow’s Next Top Model, hosted by LMI.
As part of the competition Faith has to do work for charity and is aiming to raise £400 for the foundation which works with the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
It’s moto is ‘Happiness matters’ and provides various activities and events within the hospital to make the children’s stay more pleasant.
Faith’s mum Cheryl Coventry said: “I know many of my friends and family have had little ones poorly in hospital and value the work of foundation do.
“We have set a target of £400 and would appreciate every penny donated.”
