Forest Enterprise Scotland is inviting families to an afternoon of celebrations at Old Mine Nature Park in Fallside on Saturday.
The Celebration Day features a variety of fun activities such as face painting, stone carving, story-telling and arts and crafts.
Julie Wilson, community ranger for Forest Enterprise Scotland, said: “The Celebration Day at Old Mine Nature Park is a fantastic way to get families outdoors, relaxing and spending time together.
“Old Mine Nature Park is a lovely woodland with lots of wildlife, flourishing trees and a great path network.It’s a beautiful spot to bring your kids along to play and let them explore the open greenspace. The park is a popular spot for dog-walkers and cyclists too, it offers something for everyone.”
The Celebration Day at Old Mine Nature Park is free and there is no need to book.
