Pupils at Knowetop Primary School did their bit for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal when they dressed up in pyjamas and onesies for a day of fundraising.

The children were encouraged to bring along £1 and spend some extra money on face painting, tattoos and Pudsey wristbands.

Face painting helped the school boost funds for the appeal.

There was also a raffle and the school was delighted to announce at the end of the day that the excellent sum of £1,050 had been raised.
