EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.

And this week it is the turn of Bramble, who is currently staying at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.

Centre assistant manager Lorraine Alba said: “Bramble is a very sweet two-year-old lurcher. She was nervous when she first arrived in our care but is gaining confidence every day and is full of fun and games.

“Bramble has a lovely smile and likes showing off her pearly whites!

“She was recently rehomed but, unfortunately, was returned as she was not getting along with the other dog in the household. We are therefore looking for a new home where she is the only pet.

“Bramble would be ideally suited to a nice quiet household without young children.”

If you can offer Bramble a loving home, please call the SSPCA animal helpline 03000 999 999, quoting ref Motherwell Times.
