EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.

And this week it is the turn of three-year-old Staffie Kya, who is currently staying at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.

Centre manager Karen Russell said: “Kya has such a sweet nature and loves to snuggle up to her human friends, as well as wash your face with kisses! She’s a very bright girl who already knows basic commands.

“She’s a lively lady who loves to play so she would suit an active family who can give her all the exercise she needs.

“Kya is looking for a family who she can shower with love and slobbery kisses. She has so much to offer and really deserves to find happiness.”

If you can offer Kya a loving home, please call the SSPCA animal helpline 03000 999 999, quoting ref Motherwell Times.

The Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, on Bothwell Road, is open Monday to Sunday, 10am until 4pm.
