Police are hunting a masked robber who threatened a fast food delivery driver with a baseball bat - and made off with pizza.
The suspect - wearing a pair of tights over his face - demanded the driver hand over the food, thought to be worth just over £20, on Liberty Road, Bellshill.
The incident unfolded shortly before midnight on Saturday (January 3).
It is believed the suspect was waiting near the address given when the order was placed, and accosted the 24-year-old driver.
The suspect is described as being 5’8”, slim and was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.
Anyone with information is urged to call Police Scotland on 101.
