A BELLSHILL man and a fitness trainer from Motherwell have been jailed after police smashed a cocaine ring in the west of Scotland.
James Fox was caught with drugs and a mixing agent worth more than £1 million at his home in Glenmore Avenue, Bellshill.
Fox (37), was jailed for five years at the High Court in Edinburgh.
Michael Fernandez (47), of Frood Street, Motherwell, got four years and two months.
Drugs worth more than £2 million were seized from his home, together with £4,000 in cash.
Three men from Glasgow were also jailed. All five admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine last year.
Police said ‘sophisticated cocaine factories’ were found during the raids.
