FOOTBALL coaches from the Luxol Sports Club in Malta recently visited Braidhurst High School’s football academy as part of an exchange trip to develop coaching techniques.

Scotland legend Davie Hay joined North Lanarkshire Council coaches - including former players Stevie Hamilton and Andy Smith - in welcoming the 11 Maltese coaches to Motherwell.

The trip was organised through the Leonardo Da Vinci training programme in Malta, in partnership with Cumbernauld College and the council’s learning and leisure services department.
