THE next stage of refurbishment work at Motherwell’s Dalziel St Andrew’s Church got under way this week.
It is part of a £315,000 project which will see a significant upgrade of the sanctuary and halls.
So far, restoration of the Walcker pipe organ has commenced while the hall windows have been double glazed and three new condensate boilers installed.
The next phase of work will focus on the upgrade of electrical works and heating systems, which will require the removal of ground floor pews.
